well, I'm no longer a Twin Turbo virgin. :) But I was wicked disappointed. I'm chalking it up to the fact that it must have had something wrong with it. I was so excited to be on my way to actually test drive a 91 TT(maroon), and I've heard such great things about how fast and everything, that I was so disappointed that this one sucked. I was hoping to get in it, take off on the highway and be up this morning making plans to find a Twin Turbo to purchase asap. I guess I drove a dud, cause it didnt feel like it was really much more powerful then my 93 n/a. When do the turbos kick in on a stock 91? Or shall I say, when are they supposed to? It definatly didnt feel like it had anymore low end torque then my N/A. I know theres so many things that could slow it down. I wish I could take the car for a week and go through the entire thing. Change the plugs, valves, clean the connectors...fuel filter..air filter etc etc. Have the compression and turbos checked....then take it out for a drive. The engine was way dirty too. It made me want to clean it up, cause I know it would've been shiney if you spent about 2 hours cleaning under there. It also had some wierd deal where when I hit a bump in the rear right wheel, it felt like it jumped out to the side. That tire was bald also. Obiviously not a cherry car but...anyways.....if theres any TT owners in the New England area, that have there TT in "real" twin turbo condition, let me know. I'd love to go for a ride and see what they REALLY feel like! :(
